Step 1: Expand DEV ZONE on left menu bar and Select Microflow.


Step 2: Click and then click ‘Create Project Wizard’



Step 3: Project Name

  • Enter your project name in ‘Project Name’
  • Enter description in ‘description’
  • Click ‘Next’        



Step 4: Define Business object

  • Click at word ‘Process Parameter’ and click  to add parameter to your Business object as shown in the picture
  • Click ‘next’



Step 5: Create Process

  • Enter "getSummary" in ‘Process Name’
  • Choose Shareable in ‘Process Type’
  • Click ‘Finish’



Step 6: Create flow

  • Drag Start node under EVENT tab and drop in space



  • Drag Database node under ACTIVITY tab and drop in the space next to start node



  • Double click at database node and the configuration panel will be shown at the bottom of the screen.
    • In tab General enter ''GetCountUser"


    • In tab Business Object choose ''Summary''
    • ensure that you check input and output


    • Click "Open Mapping Parameter"
    • Click on the line between Input and Mapping
    • Link the parameters for input
    • Click Save.
    • Click on the line between Mapping and Output
    • Link the parameters for output
    • Click Save.
    • Now click on Close to close the mapping screen.



    • Open tab Database Parameter
    • Choose Connection Type as JNDI.
    • Enter "java:/jdbc/avacrowd" in JNDI Name
    • Choose "Select" for Command Type
    • Enter "select count(id) as countID from avacrowd.users"  in Command



    • Click "Open Mapping Parameter"
    • Click on the line between Input and Mapping
    • Link the activity parameters for input
    • Click Save.
    • Click on the line between Mapping and Output
    • Link the parameters for output.
    • Click Save.
    • Now click on Close to close the mapping screen.

  • Drag line for connect start node to database node
  • Drag Java node under ACTIVITY tab and drop in space next to database node.



  • Double click at java node and the setting will be show down the screen
    • In tab General Add ''getSummary" in Name



    • Open tab Business Object and choose ''Summary'' for Parameter name.
    • Check both input and output.



    • Click "Open Mapping Parameter"
    • Click on the line between Input and Mapping
    • Link the parameters for input
    • Click Save.
    • Click on the line between Mapping and Output
    • Link the parameters for output
    • Click Save.
    • Now click on Close to close the mapping screen.



    • Open tab Java Parameter
    • Choose "infoSummary" (jar file) in Jar Name
    • Click "Get Class Name" and choose "com.summary.run.SummaryRun" for Class name
    • Click "public com.summary.SummaryObject getSummary()"  in Method name



    • Click "Open Mapping Parameter"
    • Click on the line between Mapping and Output
    • Link the parameters for output.
    • Click Save.
    • Now click on Close to close the mapping screen.



  • Drag line for connect database node to java node
  • Drag END node  under EVENT tab and drop in space  next to java node
  • Drag line for connect java node to end node
  • Click "Save"



Now you have your first Microflow ready for service
